Anthony L. Jones was born in Winona, Mississippi as a premature baby with little to no chance of living. He was so tiny that loved ones could hold him in one hand. His organs did not fully develop as he aged, and he needed open-heart surgery at five years old. This is when Anthony found his unique unconditional connection with the world. This connection led him to write children's books, poetry, and short stories growing up. He never published any books because he was afraid of what people thought. Publishing books was not "cool" in the African American community. Anthony decided to become a writer to help spread knowledge and to communicate the essence of life. Above all, he aims to send positive messages to both families and individuals and is committed to speaking for the voiceless by supporting God's creativity in literature.
