WILLIAM CAIRD was raised and still lives on a farm near Ogema, Saskatchewan, Canada. Farm life has taught William the love of the land and the value of hard work. William worked as an auto mechanic for 21 years, before returning to the family homestead. The farm provided a perfect way of life for William and his wife Barbara to raise their two children, Jason and Laura.
Being a farmer gives William some free time during the winter to devote to his writing. The fact that he has dyslexia and no formal literary training has been a definite hurdle for his writing efforts, but his home computer provides most of the tools he needs to harness his natural ability to tell a good story. He started out writing stories of adventures from his youth, then turned to fiction to take advantage of the full range of his imagination.
