Dr Elsa Dent is a NHMRC (National Health and Medical Research Council) Early Career Research Fellow at Baker Heart and Diabetes Institute, Torrens University, and an adjunct lecturer in the School of Population Health at the University of Adelaide. She completed a PhD in Geriatric Medicine from the University of Adelaide. In 2017, she was appointed a member of the World Health Organization's Clinical Consortium on Healthy Ageing (CCHA). Her major areas of research include frailty, sarcopenia and integrated models of care for older adults.
