Dean B. Pineles graduated from Boston University School of Law in 1968, and then served as a 2nd Lieutenant in the Infantry, assigned as a Judge Advocate General at Fort Belvoir. He later served as a judge on the Vermont District Court for 21 years. He lives in Stowe, Vermont, with his wife Kristina.
