Hossein Karami received his B.S., M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from Electrical Engineering Department of Amirkabir University of Technology (AUT), Tehran, Iran, in 2010, 2012 and 2017, respectively. His Ph.D. thesis related to the feasibility of combination partial discharge localization and SAR imaging of power transformer windings using electromagnetic antennas. He is currently a postdoctoral researcher at AUT and works on development and optimization of methods for objective interpretation of FRA test results. His research interests include energy management, optimal scheduling, online monitoring of power transformers, partial discharge and FRA test results interpretation.
