Katherine Elizabeth Long is a youth journal and workbook author, founder of the Exploring Paths(R) program in NYC, and the founder of Exploring Paths(TM) Web and mobile application for explorers, destinations, and subject matter experts alike. Currently based in East Hampton, Katherine is originally from Del Rio, TX. She spent summers in Southern La and New Orleans, has lived and studied throughout the US and Europe, and has traveled the world both for work and fun. Her parents instilled gratitude and goal-setting practices in her and her brother at a young age, and it is those practices that set them up for success. She works to instill those same practices in students today through her program, applications, and now these journals and workbooks. These books come from her experiences, her seven-plus years running the youth program in NYC, her studies at TCU and LSE, and her work with children over the last 20 years. She aims to ensure students have the tools and encouragement needed to explore their own paths of development, lead lives full of gratitude, establish healthy habits, develop growth mindsets, and find that spark that will take them on their journeys.
