Angel Reynolds, a native of New Jersey, moved to Richmond, Virginia, as a youth and adopted the city as her new home. Angel, a proud alumnus of Howard University, has dedicated her life to working with inner-city youth of all ages. Focusing on trauma, mindfulness, restorative justice, child development, self-care, self-confidence, conflict resolution, and self-sufficiency, she is hands-on in her work with youth and families. As a children's diversity author, Angel taps into her years of community-based work with the Department of Social Services and the public school system. In all her work, she leads with her personal motto: "The best present you can give your child, which doesn't cost a thing, is your unconditional love."She is the Founder and Executive Director of the Never Forgotten Foundation, an organization committed to providing grief and loss services to families. Outside of work, Angel enjoys spending time with her family, especially her sons, Bryce and Brayden, and writing children's books devoted to overcoming obstacles.
