Dr Schillaci is Full Professor of Nuclear Medicine at University of Rome "Tor Vergata" since 2007. He is also Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery from 2013 and Chief at the Nuclear Medicine Department, Tor Vergata University Hospital. Dr Schillaci is a professor of Medicine and Surgery, in TRM, and in several medical specialization schools. Currently the Head of Department of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging at the University Hospitaat the “Tor Vergata University, and Director of the School of Medicine and Chancellor of the University. Member of the Editorial Board of the Eur J Nucl Med Mol Imaging and of J Nucl Med, the most prestigious journal in the world in the field of Nuclear Medicine. His scientific field of interest is currently focused on the development of novel PET radiopharmaceuticals and their potential clinical applications in oncology, neurology, cardiology and infectiology, within a scientist’s network involving several Italians and Europeans institutions.
Recently, the Author also became President of the Italian Association of Nuclear Medicine (AIMN).
