Rob Sand served seven years as Assistant Attorney General in the Iowa Attorney General’s office before stepping down to make a successful run for the Office of Iowa State Auditor in November 2018, a position he now holds. In his time at the Iowa Attorney General’s office, he focused on financial and white-collar crime while also prosecuting violent crime and sexually violent predator civil commitment cases.
