Stephen Gross is an award-winning designer who has received numerous honors for his work in advertising, branding, and retail. His creative vision and design talent has impacted some of the most creative and innovative companies in the world, including Estee Lauder, The Walt Disney Company, Warner Brothers, Universal, Fox, Nickelodeon, Hasbro, Mattel, Lionsgate, and A+E, among many others.
From his experience as VP of Creative and Brand for Disney and Executive Creative Director for Barbie at Mattel, Stephen has acquired a sensibility that understands what parents want for their children and learned how to talk to them in words, visuals, and graphics in an easy, compelling way.
With a designer's view for clear and simple communication, Stephen created a parenting primer for this generation of first-time parents. His mission has been to capture the best and most up-to-date modern advice from the ones who know best, pediatricians, nurses, lactation specialists, nannies, educators, and parents themselves, and distilling that information down to its essentials. The resulting Simplest Baby Book creates a "grab-and-do" resource that provides sound and practical advice.
Stephen grew up in Ohio and went to the University of Dayton, where he studied commercial design and received a BFA. He moved to New York City out of college, where he lived for several year before moving to California. He lives with his husband, Vincent, in Los Angeles with their two adorable children, who are now ages two and three.
