A lifelong Virginian, with an ancestor at Jamestown in 1609, Aaron Bowles received his Bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Virginia Commonwealth University. He began his professional career as an illustrator and animator. He later was a creative director of copy and design for national technology, telecom, and real estate clients. A former assistant professor of design, Aaron taught art at George Mason to wildly opinionated university students. He has also written too many ads and not enough fiction. Currently, Aaron paints Abstract Landscapes and Post-Impressionist artworks and exhibits them in three art galleries. He is also a former registered private investigator, financial advisor, and car salesman. Aaron lives in Richmond in a neighborhood full of green yards and kids with two insane Cairn terriers, and his lovely, spirited wife Edie, whom he met at the age of 16. This is his first novel.
