She is passionate about supporting others to break the stigma of kidney disease by equipping them with the tools required to be empowered and effectively advocate for themselves. Her vision is to raise the spirits and awareness of people facing adversity by offering the beauty of community support through her online platform, Antidote. The purpose of Antidote is to bridge the gap of support and resources so others can build connections throughout their journey. Hiral holds a bachelor's degree in anthropology with a minor in finance from California State University, Northridge. After receiving her kidney transplant, her focus shifted to advocacy for patients-first with a local support group and now through her platform Antidote. Born and raised in Los Angeles, Hiral now enjoys sunny San Diego, CA, with her fiancé, Shiv. The essence of her being is built on filling her soul with discovering new adventures and embracing life. She cherishes moments spent connecting with her family and friends and with nature.
