Derek A Bardowell is the author of the sports memoir No Win Race, a Sunday Times and Financial Times Book of the Year in 2019. He is the CEO of Ten Years' Time, which helps ambitious philanthropists to take big bets on new ideas that can change the world, and a Knowledge Equity Fellow at the Skoll Centre for Social Entrepreneurship, Said Business School, University of Oxford. Derek also hosts the podcast Just Cause, exploring the intersection of race, culture and philanthropy and he is a Thirty Percy Foundation trustee.
