Allisa grew up in a small town buried in the cornfields of Iowa. She works in education and has a master of science degree in effective teaching and a minor in creative writing and film studies. Allisa spends her free time coaching eighth grade volleyball, binge-watching all the TV shows, writing, playing with her son, and entertaining her wife.
