Over the course of three decades, Roberta Vigilance has gained extensive B2B (Business to Business) and B2C (Business to Consumer) sales experience and has spent more than 20 of those years in the event sponsorship space selling events to sponsors and teaching sponsorship seekers how to secure sponsors for events. Roberta had an event budget of $0 to plan events when, in 1999, she established her event planning company. Self-taught, after the word sponsorship came into her realm but not the process, she learned the language and steps that are needed to secure sponsors for events, and secured corporate to local sponsors for all of her events. As a result, Roberta closed and saved her company hundreds of thousands of US dollars in sponsorship. Her events' sponsors span the gamut from Rite Aid and Tommy Hilfiger Jeans to Adidas and CocaCola. Roberta strategic problem-solving, ingenuity, and inquisitive nature have all learned her the reputation as an innovative sponsorship industry frontrunner around the globe.
