Mary Dark, a professional floral designer for over 30 years, owns and operates New Wine Design in Shreveport, Louisiana, where she teaches workshops on creative and non-traditional altar design with a focus on helping people worship God. She speaks regionally and nationally about integrating altar design into worship and regularly designs unique and inspiring altars for churches. At Grace Community United Methodist Church, she leads a large team of worship volunteers known as the Tribe of Dan, who create unique altars to support any given worship gathering in the congregation.
