Dr. Samy Madbouly is an Assistant Professor at Pennsylvania State University, Behrend College, School of Engineering. He received his Ph.D. from the Department of Organic and Polymeric Materials, Tokyo Institute of Technology, Japan. He served as a senior research scientist at the School of Polymers and High-Performance Materials, University of Southern Mississippi, and at the Center for Biomaterial Development, Institute of Polymer Research, GKSS, Germany. He also worked as Research Professor in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at Iowa State University and Senor Polymer Engineer at Schlumberger. Prof. Madbouly has published over 100 peer-reviewed journal papers with approximately 3500 citations, as well as 8 patents, 2 books, and 20 book chapters. He has presented more than 100 talks at national and international meetings, and serves as a frequent reviewer and referee.
