Before her passing from ovarian cancer on November 18, 2017, Mukee Okan worked as a certified sexual surrogate partner therapist who offered individual sessions with singles and couples. From 1992 to 2017, Mukee was a Spiritual Sexuality teacher, leading sacred sexuality programs in Australia, New Zealand, the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and Europe. She guided hundreds of people from all walks of life-men, women, rabbis, executives, professional athletes, parents, retirees, and people with disabilities-to experience more balance, happiness, and fulfillment in their sex lives. Mukee was initiated into a traditional tantric yogic lineage in 1984. Having trained for twenty years in Tantra, Mukee's work focused on deepening and expanding people's sexual experiences using sexual energy in their everyday life to create greater creativity, energy, and abundance. This life-long work led to her creating an award-winning documentary, "The Pussy Talks," and her unfinished documentary, "The Cock Tales." She earned a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Sydney in 1985. From 1986-1990, she worked at Satyam Desktop Design as a Desktop Publisher, always on the cutting edge of learning, using, and innovating with new technologies. Mukee was an accomplished artist, photographer, and videographer. In 1999, she founded Spirit Fire productions, a company that offered online sexual education and other products for awakening consciousness. To her closest friends and mentors, Mukee was known as Muktananda, meaning "the bliss of spiritual freedom." To everyone who met her, she was known as, "Your Orgasm's Best Friend."
