Nalini Nadkarni is a scientist and a professor of environmental science. She is also the cofounder and president of the International Canopy Network. She has published more than 55 articles as well as two books, and in 2001 she was featured doing canopy research in the National Geographic documentary Heroes of the High Frontier, which won an Emmy Award.
