Christophe Bastien is Principal Lecturer in Engineering Simulation at Coventry University and manages the university's Mechanical and Automotive Engineering MSc courses. He has 15 years' industry experience in crashworthiness testing and computer simulation, including design work for Jaguar and analysis of lightweight electric vehicle architectures using Finite Element Analysis for the 29m Low Carbon Vehicle Technology Project (LCVTP) Advantage West Midlands project.
