Kevin R. Wood is crazy for vegetables. One of his many hobbies is taking pictures of veggies, and he once curated a slide show of his 140 favorite broccoli-related photographs and set up a broccoli museum in his office. He has also worked in a vegetable cannery. Now he works for Seattle Public Schools, making reading and writing as much fun as possible for students who are learning English. Once Upon a Parsnip is his first picture book.
