Kurt Smeaton is a professional actor/writer, based in Toronto. A graduate of the George Brown Theatre School, Kurt is a former regional and national champion with the Canadian Improv Games. He has judged, trained, and adjudicated improv across Ontario, and was a founding member of an Ottawa-based sketch troupe: The Pez Family. Kurt has worked extensively in the theatre, performing with such renowned companies as Soulpepper, Theatre Direct Canada, and Actors' Repertory Company. He is currently using his improv skills writing and performing in a number of comedy pilots for television.
