Carrie Muhammad is an educator and author. The inspiration for her workbook comes from the book Flag of Islam by the Honorable Elijah Muhammad. She saw the need for the Flag of Islam to be more accessible to children. She was also inspired by Mother Tynetta Muhammad, the wife of the Honorable Elijah Muhammad who stated that the whole scope of Master Fard Muhammad's teachings is Astronomy, thus stressing the importance of teaching Astronomy to our children at Muhammad University of Islam.
