Tina Gharavi is an Iranian/American/British/New Zealand film maker and screenwriter, known for making innovative cross-platform films about outsiders, outcasts and marginalised people in extraordinary situations. Her award-winning films have been shown in film festivals internationally. Her first feature film, "I Am Nasrine", was nominated for a BAFTA in 2013 in the category of Best British Debut. Tina Gharavi is founder and Creative Director of Bridge + Tunnel. She is currently a Lecturer in English (Digital Media) at the University of Newcastle.
