German-born Dani Baker has lived in several cities in Germany, Berne/ Switzerland and San Francisco/ California. Since 2010, she calls Kitchener/ Ontario, home. If she doesn't shovel snow or chase away skunks, wild turkeys, rabbits, or numerous chipmunks from her vegetable beds, she works freelance for different educational publishers. Moreover, she teaches baking and cooking classes and excites her friends with European baked goods made by DCK - Dani's Chaos Kitchen. She has published three books as Daniela Wolff, as well as three titles of the Hansel & Pretzel series in German so far. 'Santa's last muffin' is her first book in English.
