Hannah Mayer is a PhD Fellow at Harvard Business School and part of the Laboratory for Innovation Science at Harvard, where she does research on digital transformation and AI-powered business models. Her research interests also extend to (digital) business ecosystems and platforms-an area she explored as part of her doctoral studies, which she completed at the University of St. Gallen (Switzerland). She frequently publishes thought-leading insights from the digitization, innovation and technology spaces in leading media outlets, such as Forbes.com and Harvard Business Review. Prior to her academic career, Hannah was a management consultant at a leading international management consulting firm, where she specialized in digital transformation, digital skill building, and digital marketing projects within the tech sector and other industries, and across various geographies. Previously, she spent two years at Google as a digital strategist, helping media agencies optimize their digital strategies. In addition to her PhD, Hannah holds master's degrees from Queen's University (Canada) and the Vienna University of Economics and Business (Austria).
