Lorna Williams is a lecturer on the primary initial teacher training team at the University of Worcester where she leads on early years, and supports and mentors future early years teachers. She was an early years teacher in school and pre-school settings for almost 20 years, including as a reception teacher in a large infant school, an early years coordinator in a village primary school and an early years phase leader.
