George Morrison graduated from the Wisconsin School of Electronics in 1972 with an associate's degree in electrical engineering. After two years in the army, he returned to college and earned a degree in English from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He spent two decades as an award-winning technical writer before landing a job as an Oracle database programmer. Always a passionate writer, George devoted his spare time during this period to fiction writing and published a novel titled Oblix: The Summoning. When not writing, George enjoys playing guitar, reading, dining out, and traveling around the United States. He and his wife, Bev, live in Waunakee, Wisconsin, with their cat. They have three grown children.
