She graduated from San Francisco State College in 1969 and did graduate work in the Oral Interpretation of Literature at the University of Washington. Her first full length collection was Living With It (Wampeter Press, 1983). Others include Seven Parts Woman (WordTech Editions, 2016) and Oncoming Halos (Kelsay Books, 2018). Her chapbooks are Birds On Discovery Island (Main Street Rag Publishing Company), Faith In The Color Turquoise (Pudding House), and more. Many journals and anthologies have used her work. Marjorie lives with her husband, Max, in Rochester, New York, after many years in the Northwest.
