Isobel Raven has been writing since retiring from teaching in Ontario and British Columbia. She first published "The Future of Fonics", a book about spelling reform whose premise she no longer espouses. She is much prouder of her second effort, a collection of short stories called "A Flower for Allie". She is leaping into a realm of impossible hope with the novel you hold in your hands now. Enjoy!
