Dr. Zhu obtained his PhD in Mathematics in 1992. He has been a math professor at the University of Oklahoma since 1999. His research area is Partial Differential Equations. He gives numerous research talks in many famous universities around the world (such as Princeton University, Cornell University, Peking University, University of Science and Technology of China, etc.) He started to teach youths elementary math when his own kids were in elementary school. He founded a nonprofit organization Everyone-Math Institute with his wife in 2019 in Oklahoma, aiming to improve the mathematics education in his local community. Dr. Zhu was awarded the AMS Centennial Fellowship from American Mathematical Society in 2001. He lives in Norman, and teaches college/graduate level mathematical courses at the University of Oklahoma.
