Andrea Ritchie co-founded the Interrupting Criminalization initiative with Mariame Kaba and the COVID19 Policing Project with Derecka Purnell. She has been a Senior Soros Justice fellow, was a co-editor of Color of Violence, and the author of Invisible No More: Police Violence Against Black Women and Women of Color. She lives in Brooklyn.
