A husband and father to three children, Roshon T. Jackson Sr. was raised in Lansing, Michigan. At the age of eighteen, he joined the United States Air Force where he faithfully served his country. The Rage and Peace of Soulz chronicles his personal struggles and experiences as well as those of others he met during his travels, locally and abroad. Through his contemporary and insightful poetry, Roshon expresses love, hate, honor, acceptance, self-reflection, death, and revolution. He aims for his words to reach the deepest recesses of the subconscious mind, give vision to those who are lost, and heal the souls of the brokenhearted.
