Thomas Amoriello Jr. has introduced the ukulele to many children as a music teacher in New Jersey. He also teaches an after-school "Ukulele Club" and has presented beginner ukulele workshops at music education conferences. "Mr. A." earned a Master of Music degree from Shenandoah Conservatory. As a guitarist he recently he made a heavy metal recording with former members of Black Sabbath, Whitesnake, Dio, Ozzy Osbourne, and Yngwie J. Malmsteens's Rising Force. He is the Chairperson for the NAfME Council for Guitar Education and is the author of the children's picture book, A Journey to Guitarland with Maestro Armadillo that is also available from Black Rose Writing.
