Corry Nitzsche has always been a great believer in the power and magic of stories. She wanted to be a writer from the age of 6, when she started writing stories about sweet little kittens and puppies. She had a side-line trying to rescue fledglings and field mice from the formidable, but much-loved, Kinky-tail, her Siamese cat. Although largely unsuccessful in her attempts to resuscitate Kinky-tail's victims, she was inspired by them to become a Doctor. She worked in Africa for many years, and also spent some time in India. Working in busy hospitals left little time to write, but she had a fascinating and rewarding time in Africa and India, and counts herself lucky to have lived and worked there. She has recently resumed writing stories and lives with her husband in Kent. She currently has a vacancy for a very special, black rescue-cat.
