Naren Barfield is an artist himself, but also Head of Research and Postgraduate Studies and Professor of Visual Arts at the Glasgow School of Art. He has been widely published, he has curated at venues including the V&A, and his practical work is collected and exhibited internationally. He was the first artist working digitally to be commissioned by the British Museum and he is a founder member of the International Association of Fine Art Digital Printmakers. He has taught at various schools, including the RCA, the Slade and Chelsea, and he is an experienced PhD examiner and supervisor.
