Tiago Etiene received his computer science and M.S. degrees from the University of Sao Paulo in 2006 and 2008, respectively, and his Ph.D. degree from the University of Utah in 2013. His research on the field of verifiable visualizations serves as the basis for this book. In addition, his research interests include geometry processing, computer graphics, scientific and information visualization, and related areas. He is a research scientist at Modelo Inc. working with cutting edge geometry processing tools tailored to geosciences applications.
