Richard Shiff holds the Effie Marie Cain Regents Chair in Art at the University of Texas at Austin, where he directs the Center for the Study of Modernism. He is the author of numerous books. Bruce Hainley is a contributing editor at Artforum and the author of two books of poetry. He teaches at the Art Center College of Design and the Roski School of Fine Arts, University of Southern California. Annabelle Ténèze is the director of Musée d'art moderne et contemporain, Toulouse, France.
