Marie-Paule Mahoney was born and grew up in Brittany, France. She now lives in the foothills of New York State. Her career as an educator led her to write and cowrite two books for learning French. When Marie-Paule retired, she took a greater interest in nature, wildlife, and conservation. She expresses these interests in her children's books that feature animals in their habitats. She also explores themes of love, friendship, and loss in her writing. The mysterious beauty of the natural world inspired her to write Little-Princess. You can visit her at www.mariepaulemahoney.com
