Dr. Anil K. Verma, Ph.D., M.N.A.Sc., FLS, London (born 1963-) Sr. Asstt. Professor, Department of Zoology, Govt. College for Women (P.G.), Gandhi Nagar, Jammu, J&K State, did his M.Sc. in Zoology (1986) from University of Jammu, Jammu. He has undergone his M.Phil. (1988) and awarded first rank and Ph.D. (1993) in the field of animal reproduction at the same University and has published about 50 research papers and review articles in reputed journals and books. He is also a member Editorial Board of the book series "Advances in Fish and Wildlife: Ecology and Biology". In recognition of his standing in greater scientific community, the Board of Directors of the American Association for the advancement of science (AAAS) New York, Washington, has awarded membership to him. Recently the Linnaean Society of London, U.K. has awarded fellowship to him in October 2006 in recognition of his contribution towards the cultivation of knowledge in Science of Natural History.
