Gloria Monaghan is a professor at Wentworth in Boston. She has published five previous books of poetry, Flawed (Finishing Line), The Garden, (Flutter Press), False Spring (Adelaide), Torero (Nixes Mate), and Hydrangea (Kelsay). Her poems have appeared in Alexandria Quarterly, Lily Poetry Review, Mom Egg Review, River Heron among others. She has been nominated for the Pushcart Prize, the Griffin Prize the Massachusetts Book Award.
