June Heller has 36 years of experience as an elementary teacher, elementary principal, and coordinator of gifted education. Winner of the Exceptional Professional Award from the Council for Exceptional Children and the Phi Delta Kappa Outstanding Educator's Aware, she received her BS and MS in elementary education from Millersville University. She completed elementary principal certification studies at the University of Pennsylvania, where she specialized in curriculum development and gifted education. June is a member of the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development. Retired from her position as principal of a large city public school in 1997, she has spent the last three years as a first, third and fourth grade teacher at a small private school in Lancaster.
