After graduating with honours from Musician's Institute in Los Angeles, Angela became the lead singer and a principal writer for the award winning Canadian country group, Farmer's Daughter. During their ten years together, the trio enjoyed major success with Gold albums, CMT videos, national television appearances, extensive touring as well as multiple Juno, Canadian Country Music Association, and BC Country Music Association Awards. Wanting to share all her years of knowledge and experience on stage and in the recording studio with others, Angela created "The 5 Point Singing System" vocal program so aspiring singers could learn her singing secrets in the comfort of their own home. This system gives beginners a safe place to start, and offers professional singers a tune-up and some butt kicking before going into the studio or on tour. It is an easy to understand program filled with humour and wit as well as valuable tips, tricks and great technique. The video tutorials included in the manual make it feel like you are actually in the vocal studio with her. In her "spare" time she continues to perform her favourite retro repertoire with her dream band, The Polyester Philharmonic, at casinos and corporate events. She claims to be able to sing Motown and Disco, and dance in platform shoes for 3 hours straight, as well as anyone half her age. www.angelakelman.com
