David Morris grew up in Phoenix, AZ. Having lived in Southern California and Arizona his entire life, he retired to Palm Springs from Flagstaff in 2010. Spending afternoons around the pool with friends when he would have been shoveling snow was a welcome change. The lifestyle of Palm Springs proved to be youth restoring in and of itself and was an inspiration. Being a storyteller and an avid reader, it was a natural move to sit and write. It was here that David wrote his first novel, Spots.
