Bill Merrilees has an international reputation for his marketing and retailing research and expertise. His research interests embrace branding and innovation, retailing and e-retailing, shopping mall branding, interactive branding, city branding, marketing theory, and marketing strategy. He publishes very widely in international scholarly journals, and has published a number of books, research monographs, cases studies and book chapters. Bill's work has been recognised with various awards for research excellence. He has also been Visiting Professor of Marketing in the De Groote School of Business at McMaster University in Ontario, Canada, and at the University of Hertfordshire in the UK.
