DOYLE DUKE spent eight years in the U.S. Navy as a photographer's mate. There, he attended three photographic schools, was a designated motion picture photographer, and rose to the rank of First Class before deciding not to make the Navy a lifetime career. During his career in the real world, his two major employers were the Chattanooga Times and Hinkle's Commercial Photographics. He attended local colleges, studying business and art, and completed one year. As a young man, he came to love the outdoors, hunting, hiking, biking, and scenic photography. In later years his interests turned to social issues such as overpopulation, pollution, the depletion of our natural resources, racism, and of course, the old, good versus evil puzzle, religion. He has self-published a number of articles and books on these subjects, among them: The Amazing Deception: A Critical Analysis of Christianity, Extended Vacation, and two in a future apocalyptic series, In Search of Camelot and Tomorrow's Dreamers. He has been married to his lifetime love, Fay Royster Duke, for over fifty-five years. They have two children, four grandchildren, and three great-granddaughters. They live on Brindlee Mountain, just south of Huntsville, Alabama.
