Several years back, after successfully practicing Chiropractic Medicine for 8 years Dr. David 'Dr. Scott' Schmidt expressed his strong desire as a life-long learner and gracefully departed from his beloved practice to enroll in Medical School. In August 2011 Dr. Schmidt was asked to join the Vitas Innovative Hospice Medical Team as a Clinician/Provider for patients on hospice service. Dr. Schmidt also enjoys utilizing his trauma and ER skills while employed in Urgent Care Facilities throughout Dallas/Ft. Worth.
