JAMES NEWMAN GRAY was born and raised in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, and developed an interest in drawing from an early age. While others were out playing soccer, he was inside creating magical characters and landscapes. When not drawing James likes to play guitar and create music, and can often be found cycling around the rolling hills of the Peak District National Park.
