MARY BLAIR (1911–1978) is revered in both the children’s animation and illustration industries. For nearly four decades, she was involved in many important Disney projects, creating the concept paintings for the animated films Peter Pan, Cinderella, and Alice in Wonderland, and illustrated the Golden Book Classic I Can Fly.
 
GARTH WILLIAMS (1912–1996) brought to life some of the best-loved children’s books of the 20th century, including E. B. White’s Charlotte’s Web and Stuart Little, and illustrated many classic Little Golden Books, such as Baby Farm Animals, The Sailor Dog, and The Kitten Who Thought He Was a Mouse.
 
ELOISE WILKIN (1904–1987) is one of the most beloved and prolific Golden Books illustrators. Her classic Little Golden Books My Little Golden Book About God and Prayers for Children have never been out of print.
