Kris Haslund is an educator with over forty years of experience, with a M.A. and Education Specialist in Gifted Education. She loves teaching kids of all ages how to use their creative thinking powers to benefit our world.
Any spare time finds Kris up North hiking, boating, and cross-country skiing along Lake Superior. She is an avid gardener and traveler, and appreciates creative ''good things'' like musical performances, plays, art, and puppetry. She loves to read and shares her therapy dog, Legacy, at schools and libraries, where kids read books to her.
This is Kris's first book, and she has many more bubbling around in her imagination!
